Save Ellis Island

I felt very fortunate to have learned of a place that in my mind has become a national shrine, a place where we as citizens, possessed with a kinder and a more understanding belief in human nature, did more to benefit mankind than we do today. Walking through afternoon sunlit rooms where traces of an undeniable history still remain elicits an eerie feeling of kindness without boundaries, a time and a place which should never be forgotten.
